"KTD-U? KTD-we? KTD-I!!!!"
hahaha..just a lil joke cheer before the game.
Weee!! I enjoyed the futsal tournament this morning!
Even though our team, KTDI did not make it to the semis...we still did our best! And I so love the team for giving it their all. Give a hand everybody! (audience claps)
Thanks so much to, of course our goalkeeper, Moh-Moh...couldn't have made it thus far without you =) Then we have the rest of the team - Ain, Aishah, Fatin, Shu, Kak Nana and friends. Boy, did we show them huh? Who would've thought that a bunch-O medic students could play futsal ay? LOL.
Owh, another reason contributing to my...errr, rather fascination for today's game was...I GOT TACKLED A LOT! That was fun! I mean, yeah...it did hurt like hell...and yeah, I did tergolek-golek all over the court...but it was all worth it. To me, a game without bruises or scratches is like coming home from war unscathed. It's like you go out there, but it was all fruitless. Then people will ask you, "what DID you do?" lol. But, that also depends of course. Some people prefer to play safe and not hurt anyone or themselves for that matter...which is good coz a clean game prevents players from getting really bad injuries.
I'm sorry though, if you think me hogging the position in the game even when I injured myself. Truth-be-told, I only play when I know I'm still up for it. I know my limitations, and if I'm out...that means I really, really dah pancit. Otherwise, I'm still ok to run around and go after the ball and stuff. Handball taught me how to use-up all my energy and recharging in a short period of time, sprint for the ball and run up and down numerous times.
Owh, downside...I had so many opportunities to score a few goals, but ended up ruining the moment by THINKING before kicking the ball. Yup, a fine example of how most girls play I suppose. The difference between us girls and them boys is when boys get the ball, they just kick it...the hell with the distance between the goal, or how close the defenders are...the plan is to make sure the ball gets in.
With us girls, we tend to think before kicking the ball. "Should I pass or shoot? Who to pass to? How come my footing isn't correct? How do I get pass this dude? Should I kick hard..or slow?". Well, that's pretty much what went through my mind in that matter of seconds. What a waste though..sniffs.
All in all..had a blast!! =D Next game, netball in Feb. Yay~
.I am not a bench-foot, l e n a.
