Dear Blog,

I've been updating myself about the recent aid for Gaza. As sad and furious as I was with the world's opinions after reading a few of their comments at the CNN website...I was somehow further enraged by this specific comment - a biatch who is nothing short of a moron and a racist.

She wrote...and I quote:

"...it was fine when Israeli were killing the Palestinians - no one cares about them. But, now they're killing innocent Europeans? They have to be stopped!..."

Wow, so you're saying it's OK to kill people as long as they're not European? Or are you trying to imply that it's OK to kill Muslims, just don't touch your Christians and Jews? Since when was it "fine" to kill people at all?

I'm sorry, the last time I checked Palestinians are people too.

And now that the ships of the Flotilla were attacked with YOUR kind of people on board, only NOW you open your eyes? I really wished that these circumstances would actually involve the whole world so they'd actually know what it feels like to be an unarmed civilian, attacked by military-trained soldiers.

Of course you have to defend yourselves. Your survivor skills will kick-in shitholes! How could you even suggest that the ships carry ammunition, rockets and bombs? If there are, please give me proof so I won't have to listen to all of your false allegations and finger-pointing blames. Coz that's what they are - just rumors. So, for now we really don't know the true story. It's 3 sided - from the flotilla of ships, Israeli and the spectators at home. There is no way of knowing what actually happened unless we were actually there with them.

Only God knows, and for now God, the Most Generous and Most Forgiving, please forgive my fellow brothers and sisters and help them go through this. Kuatkanlah semangat mereka.

How blind is the world today? I guess it's OK to kill people, just as long as you have a good excuse right? Sheeesh.

Put aside all the religious and political gibberish and just focus on the facts. Those PEOPLE (Israeli or not), are attacking one another. A confrontation that was bound to happen but clouded by being too naive. What did they expect to happen? We all know how the Israeli are, if you're a child, woman or muslim - shoot to kill.

Was this really about helping Gaza? Or was this just to prove a political point? - Israel Government. Go to hell...which is where you'll be eventually.

reliving the nightmare

Dear Blog,

Yep. My friends and I are going to watch Nightmare on Elm Street tonight, a remake of the original movie of which I had nightmares like...never-ending since I was a teeny-weeny girl.

I've read horrible reviews pertaining this recent one, so I'm expecting the worst now LOL. I'm pretty sure it won't affect me in any way like the old ones did. Robert Englund was great at playing Freddy Krueger, he really brought the imaginative (scary even) character to life.

Remember that Freddy only comes to you in your sleep. So, insomnia would be the obvious symptom you'd have after watching the original NoES.

The new Freddy played by Jackie Earle Haley (as Rorschach - Watchmen & as George Noyce - Shutter Island) was criticized to have "looked like a frog wearing a hat" in this remake. But, that's someone else's opinion. I'd like to watch this movie and find out myself the strengths and weaknesses and write my own review (as usual).

Btw, ever wondered why Rorschach was named Rorschach in that movie? It's his mask that constantly changes it's black patterns at the front which resembles a test used in Psychology called the Rorschach test or Rorschach Inkblot Test named after the Swiss psychologist Hermann Rorschach. You know, it's those flashcards with black blotted patterns we see in Hollywood movies whenever there's someone crazy meeting with a psychiatrist.

Dear Blog,

On my way to HUKM, Cheras I always use the Federal Highway and that Cheras exit near Midvalley where I only have to pay 50sen one-way.

There were alotta cars just now.

It was weird. I noticed 5 cash-only toll boxes or err...thingy. I had 4 cars in front of me going to the exact same toll thingy as I was.

Other 4 toll thingys were empty.

How odd. Why didn't the other cars in front of me move to the other vacant ones? And why didn't I, too?

That was silly. So...5 cars queued at the same toll whilst 4 other tolls remained vehicle-free.
