Goodbye SN..hello DI!

Dear Blog,

Alhamdulillah, I am forever grateful to God for answering my prayers.
I passed my 2nd year =)

Here's how the story went:

IN THE MORNING
I woke up at 7.00am
Text Ainul at 7.10am++ to wish her good luck
Sent Ritz to school (he brought a tongkat along ,which made me wonder. Later, I found out it was for his oral exam. duh~)
Slept back when I reached home
Woke-up at 10am++ and called Pejabat Akademik. They told me to call back at 3pm

AFTER A FEW HOURS
Called the academic office after receiving news from Anis that the lines are open
Started calling at 2.45pm........
...Busy tone...
...Busy tone...
...Busy tone...

Watched DEVIL WEARS PRADA while redialing on speaker mode

...Busy tone...
...Busy tone...
...Busy tone...

Ate TWIX that I bought from Langkawi

...BUSY TONE!...

Ate Toblerone

...STILL BUSY?!...

I quit calling at 4.45pm (that makes a 2 hour redialing record) and called Temoh. She gave me a different phone number. So, I dialed.

What the fudge? First ring pun dah dapat!

on the phone (otp): hello?
me: hello. nak check results 2nd year bleh?
otp: bleh, bleh dik. No. matrik?
me: A116***
otp: owhh, farah lyna ke?
me: a'ah
otp: tahniah, dik. lulus ye. kesian dia, hehe
me: *breathes* terima kasih!
(hangs up)

.The scariest 15secs of my life.

So, after that call.. I jumped like a frickin monkey!
I told Sarah first. Then, Tok Wan and Tok Mum. Then Ritz found out. I called Mommy and Daddy afterwards. Text Intan, called Anis, text Temoh and tried calling Ainul, but didn't get through.

I was FREAKED! I was expecting a failure, especially for my CNS module coz it was dang hard. But memang bersyukur! =)
The best birthday gift yet. So far, Alhamdulillah I have not once required to re-sit a paper. Like Sarah says, a clean slate or like what Ainul said "result bersih lagi".

So, what happens after this?

I have to prepare myself for the rocky road up ahead. Meaning, after moving to PPUKM I'd have to focus more and not let whatever that happened to me during my whole 4th semester repeat again. I was so lost and out of focus. Everything that I read, was last minute and understood only the night before the actual exam paper. Not good.

Being in the 3rd year means it's time to apply all the learnt theories. It's clinical years, and we'll be dealing with real life situations. Nothing to be taken lightly. All I can say is, this path that I have chosen is totally unpredictable. Wish me luck!
