So I finally got the chance to watch Fast & Furious with him last night. I had fun, of course. There is no other guy in this world that makes me feel as giddy as I was when I'm with him, haha.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank my friend Anip, for opening my eyes and showing me a different perspective, pertaining to the situation and predicament that I was in. In less crappy words, it was a guy's point of view.
I took his advice and just dived, headlong. It was a great feeling, for there are no strings attached in this friendship/relationship.
The metaphor I used to explain things to Sarah was:
"It's like going to Baskin-Robbins, testing out what flavors you want with a lil pink spoon. You can pick any flavor, (more than one if you'd like) and taste just a bit. By this, you can indulge in every one of 'em and explore your actual taste, provide more options and not stick to only ONE flavor. You get to avoid the feeling of regret for choosing a flavor that you like only half-heartedly. I know, I LIKE chocochip cookie dough, but does that mean I want to eat it everytime I go there? Sometimes variety is the KEY to avoid boredom."
Wow, I sound like a ***** but for now, that's how I feel. I'm pretty sure after a couple of blog entrees I might change my mind and say otherwise, but this is truly how I feel at the moment.
About the movie itself, IT WAS THE BOMB!! I so love Vin Diesel! I think he's so hot! haha. And his baldness, makes him look even hotter! He's just so cool and collected, makes me feel like shaking him and asking "do you even have emotions, man?"
The cars were also awesome. I love that scene where Brian got to choose his ride for his mission. It was like a frickin' video game, wayyy cool. If only it were true =( sniff2.
Btw, the new Subaru WRX Sti was pretty impressive.
This movie is thoroughly action packed with humor and romance. Hunky guys, hot cars, beautiful women...what more could you ask for? haha. The unexpected twist at the beginning was pretty sad, though. But, that was the only way to bring Dom (Vin Diesel) back. There was also an unexpected twist in the end, that got me thinking, "whoaa, I was fooled. Seriously thought that was him." I'm glad Brian (Paul Walker) and Mia (Jordana Brewster) are OK, I just wished the other 2 were the same. Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) is gorgeous by the way, compared to the first movie she looked more like a "engine grease under her fingernails" kinda gal. In this movie, she looked like a bad-a** angel who ain't afraid to get her wings clipped.
Anyway, this movie deserves a 4/5 from me. WAY TO GO!! hehe. Awesome. I liked it for the cast, the attitude, the humor, the ACTION, the cars, the GPS graphics, the plot. The storyline was OK.
I, hereby end this entry with a quote by Dom:
"It starts with the eyes. She's gotta have those kind of eyes that can look right through the bullshit, to the good in someone. 20% angel, 80% devil. Down to earth. Ain't afraid to get a little engine grease under her fingernails."
