My family and I...LOVE good food (you can tell judging by our sizes, hah!) We love to try new places - except Jenna. She can be a real spoiled brat sometimes, haha.

Well, a few days ago Jenna, Leanna, Ritz and I went to eat brunch at OldTown White Coffee - just us sibs, coz we just love spending time with each other. Us 3 sisters usually order the divine Double Kaya Toast with Omega soft boiled eggs, but that day...boy, were we hungry. Therefore,

• Leanna ordered the Laksa
• Jenna and I, the delicious Curry Mee (highly recommended)
• Ritz ordered the Nasi Lemak special (this is nice too, if you enjoy spicy, sweet sambal).

We also ordered 2 double Kaya Toasts - which is a MUST if you ever step foot at OldTown. After indulging the Nasi Lemak special, Ritz ordered a side dish of Omega soft boiled eggs coz he was still hungry.

This place is awesome coz not only are the food great, but there are both western and local types of foods. The price is also very reasonable, if you wanna compare it with fast food restaurants, of course. You can choose to eat what you want within budget and with satisfactory. I started eating here eversince the boycotts of Israel companies. Why make them rich when we can make our local franchises richer?

Today, we got a call from Daddy asking whether we would like to join him for lunch. If it were only him and Ritz, they would eat Sushi - coz Ritz loves his Japanese cuisines. But, since Leanna and I tagged along, we told Daddy maybe Subway would be best since today is Tuna Day! (Leanna's fav!) I call her Han-Tuna btw haha. So, he drove us to Sunway Pyramid instead saying he was in the mood for some meat. Daddy, for goodness sake, you just came out of the hospital the other day. You should be eating something healthier than this. But, he insisted. Who was I to judge? LOL. Just our luck! Daddy brought us to Tony Roma's!!! Yay! Finally, my chance to try this place out. All my other family members dah merasmikan dah this place. Hmmphh! haha.

The best part about this place is, you get to act like a rich person. The waiters and waitresses respect you like you're an anak Dato' (coz it's an expensive place).

So, a few tips to get a slightly affordable meal here:

• The best time to eat here is during lunch (order the lunch specials which have very, very reasonable prices!) Lunch is up to 3 or 4pm. The cheapest so far that I saw was RM16.90 - my lunch set.
• Or, try that kid promotion thingy where kids can eat for free, or get a free dessert..or err..well, something's free lah. Only specific days though, but I'm not sure which ones. Sorry!
• You should also answer their surveys online to get RM10 off during your subsequent visit. Way cool!

They serve you a complimentary baguette, butter & garlic basket and provide their special BBQ sauces:

• TR Original - not bad. pretty basic BBQ flavor.
• Carolina Honeys - sweet BBQ flavor.
• Blue Ridge Smokies - highly recommended! It's divine!
• Red Hots - recommended, secondary to the smokies.

This was my lunch set. Refillable Ice Lemon Tea, Soup of the Day, Roasted Garlic & Rosemary Chicken which consists of coleslaw, fries and boneless chicken breasts sprinkled with Romano cheese. Gile sedap whooa!

This is Leanna's Chicken Bowtie Pasta with Fries. Not really recommended. It's quite dry. Not so yummy, eh Leanna? lol.

Ritz, content with his ummm...Sirloin Cheddar Grill Sandwich. His portion was a mouthful! He's a really big eater but even HE couldn't finish his lunch set. Yikes!

So, there you have it. My review on OldTown White Coffee & Tony Roma's.

Note: I'm no food expert. I just know what I like, that's all. So, don't take this the wrong way. I'm just a normal customer looking for a nice place to eat.
