where did the time go?

Dear Blog,

.lost track of time.

I don't know how many days are left til my finals. Frankly, I don't think I wanna know. I'm scared to know. Scared of knowing that the time left isn't sufficient to start my last minute studying (not revisions, coz I haven't read most Modules yet).

Is it possible to invent some sorta thing-a-ma-jigger that can actually help us humans study? Maybe that piece of technology can help absorb information while we sleep, or during our rest. So, as it absorbs it gets stored in the memory compartment of our brain. Something like a computer, y'know? They say that computers were made based on the human physiology of the central nervous system, correct me if I'm wrong. I enjoy crapping a lot.

A research done by Valdosta State University :

Human Cognitive Psychology (Methods of Study)
  • SQ3R
  1. Survey - Read outlines, objectives, etc.
  2. Question - Formulate questions according to what is being read
  3. Read - Read material quickly, try to answer previous questions
  4. Recite - Read aloud to self or a friend; use study guide; answer questions at the end
  5. Review - Revisit material, reviews, summaries

  • SQ4R
adding a "Reflect - write in journal, make short notes or recall" in between Read and Recite

  • PQ4R
  1. Preview - essentially the same as "survey"
  2. Question
  3. Read
  4. Reflect
  5. Recite
  6. Review

Is this really the proper way to study? Coz if it is, I'd like to think medical students should have at least 36 hours a day to actually apply that method. Shyt!

.a very crappy l e n a.
