read me if you can

Dear Blog,

I have a sudden interest in analyzing handwritings.
-GRAPHOLOGY-

I was just lying on my bed, wanting to start sketching again when I suddenly remembered a sketch drawn by Leanna, my twin sister. It was a car sketch of a Porsche 911.

As pretty and detailed as it was, with all the right angles and shadings...It still felt a lil "cartoony". Her edges are a lil rounded, and her strokes are somewhat too pressured. Your drawings are what I'd like to call clean. Don't worry Leanna, I'm not insulting your artwork. I'm just giving my descriptive opinion. Your sketches are always inspiring for me =)

In contrast to mine, I've problems with symmetry. Shadings I love, but I tend to start off with detailed drawings and end up with a less detailed drawing at the end of my sketch. My edges are rough and my strokes are pressured initially, then it gets lighter at the end point. In comparison to Leanna's drawing, mine looks "messy", lines all over the place.

So, from this sudden analytical thought I came to a conclusion that there has gotta be a reason to the differences in drawing/writing in everyone. Both Leanna and I have handwritings that are consistent with our drawings too.

Personality wise, even though we're twins, we differ so much in terms of social preferences, emotional stability and attitude. I won't elaborate more on this however, because these opinions are rather subjective. But, for those who really know us might understand what I'm talking about.

I have this weird instinct in my gut which knows how to describe and relate between our handwriting and personality but I have difficulty in putting them into words. I think that being able to read someone's handwriting and understanding their personality is useful socially and professionally. I don't wanna go pro, that's for sure. Just wanna learn the basic stuff like what a medium sized, right slanting handwriting with ascending baseline means.

Anyone know where I can learn Graphology? It would be nice to learn something other than medicine every once in awhile.

.l e n a, just the basics.
