squares with spikes

Dear Blog,

I cannot believe how narrow these people's minds are. You are all such hypocrites. You say it is forbidden, yet you enjoy stimulating your minds with other means of diversions. Sure, they're not the same sort of entertainment, but it's ENTERTAINMENT all the same.

I question how you'll survive in the real world, since your vision of life is constricted to only beliefs and not reality. I also pity you, thinking that you can control your surroundings and the people around you into doing things your way.

Your social lives? Definitely out the window, mind you. How can you even make friends and converse with colleagues if you're unable to accept other people's differences and tolerate their behaviors? Are you a two-face? Smile and laugh with us, then talk crap about us when we turn our backs.

If you were a politician, I'm pretty sure I know which side you're on.

And to be a "holistic" doctor, one is naught to discriminate and judge others. Do you think you are able to do that? If you don't start now, you think you can start then?

So, do the world a favor and just go back to that small village where you came from and control those people there. I don't think you belong anywhere in the real world. Thanks.

.you cross me. provoked. i'll return with a burning pitchfork, l e n a.

p/s: this is only intended for a specific group of people. if you terasa, i'm sorry. it may or may not be about you. but know this, i'm sick and tired of this cluster of by-the-book, small-mindedness.

fur to purr-fection

Dear Blog,

This is Noni. Say hi to Noni everyone!
*Everyone: Hi Noni!*

I'd like to welcome this beautiful cat to our apartment. She's a tabby, longhaired domestic cat with Persian descent. We got her from Jenna's fiance, D'dique. Her brother - Toni, is about the same built and coat, but his color tone is lighter, face shape is less flat with a very prominent nose (macam mat salleh). Also cute!

They're both inseparable. But, like all things in life, all good things come to an end.

D'dique's family wanted to give Noni away...and...of course Leanna was ecstatic knowing that Noni was free for the taking. So, last week was Noni's second time at our apartment...the first (together with Toni) being that time when D'dique and family balik kampung and Leanna and Ritz did the cat-sitting.

I'm soo happy! This cute fluffy thing has been the missing ingredient to that apartment we call 'home'. It's a joyful feeling coming home knowing that your cat awaits your return. She's so manja, and enjoys being pampered. And I enjoy pampering her! That's why cat owners own cats anywho, right? Ya'll cat lovers know what I'm talking about.

Our previous cat (she's still alive btw, living with our mom at our grandparents' house) - Lolita "Lola" Lempicka, she's a weird one.

This is Lola. Say bye to Lola everyone!
*Everyone : Bye Lola!* hahaha joking2

This cat is a Calico or Tortoiseshell-and-white. She's predominantly short-haired, but her coat gets longer as it reaches her tail. That's one of the reasons why I think she's special. However, this one's a crazy one I tell ya. She's been with us for 7 years, done so many unbelievable things that not normal cats could or would do. Her personality is more human than feline. I always joke around saying that she's actually human, but she crossed a Gypsy or a Witch and was cursed into a cat, LOL.

To name a few:

  • She loves running away from us and when we catch her, she'll start making noises showing unhappy she is.
  • She tiptoes away and occasionally glances at our direction when she thinks we're not watching, just so we don't 'notice' her presence.
  • She used to run into our glass door a couple of times thinking it was open.
  • She purrs when we scold her but sometimes dislike it when we pamper her.
  • When she does something silly, we usually point our fingers at her and laugh out loud just to annoy her, and she'll start squinting her eyes showing how mad she is and later changes her lying position and shows her butt at us, where her face was initially.

Over the years, instead of calling her Lola, she adopted other nicknames that suit her more. To write some of them down here would be unfavorable for ya'll might think we verbally abused her...LOL.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE cats! Any type of cat. Any breed, any color, any age. And to dislike or disown Lola would be contradicting to what I stand for. So, we didn't throw Lola away. We just have 2 different cats living under 2 separate roofs, is all. =D They're both beautiful and cute in their own ways, and I do love them both.

.Mee-yow! l e n a.
