unveiled

Dear Blog,

As usual, I shall make use of the opportunity that has bestowed upon me.

Tomorrow night's Hari Siswi at KTDI, an event made especially for ONLY girls, especially whom unfortunately are unable to show their talents 'publicly' due to a few political reasons. I know that there are many out there that are interested in these kinda stuff but aren't given a chance to actually go out in the open.

I think that it's great that they're introducing such events. I love that there are actually alotta talents out there, alas, they had been overshadowed or veiled by ..... This is a really sensitive issue, and I believe if I discuss further, a group of people (maybe more than just ONE group) will hunt me down with pitchforks and burn me at the stake, like a Witch with a capital B.

Unlike some people, I tend to NOT care what people think and just perform, ban me if you will, but some of the lecturers like it.

Anyway, nuff of that.

I'm grasping this occasion, hoping that it will keep my mind off things, especially NICU-related issues.

I'll be participating this Nasyid group with some of my colleagues that I never knew they even liked the thought of me playing guitar. I guess, never judge a book by its cover? Even weirder, they were the ones who approached me to help play the guitar while they sing. I was honored of course and eventually accepted.

Other than that, I'll be dancing a traditional number to the song Kurik Kundi and will be singing Paramore's The Only Exception with Aishah as an opening act or something.

I can't wait for the latter, for I am a big fan and I am so there for next week's concert! YAY! I wish to dedicate our performance to Paramore, for never in a million years would I have ever imagine that they would actually step foot on Malaysian soil. I'm overwhelmed. I can't wait!! =D

Hmm, wish me luck. Macam tak sempat nak practice for all performances je? =S

.i love to perform, so what? l e n a.
