So silly of me. I just dunno how to say no sometimes.
Yesterday, a friend of mine asked me whether I knew the way to SACC, Shah Alam. I told her, "yeah, Shah Alam's just beside Subang Jaya".
I explained to her the directions from Cheras-Federal, coz that's the only way I know since that's my route to and fro home.
She didn't get it...of course, the roads here in Malaysia can be pretty confusing if you know what I mean. She then told me to explain to this other friend of hers. As expected, a lil blurry.
Then one of 'em suggested for me to help show the way there.
I was like, "hmmm...".
Then she added, "nanti kita orang letak Farah as one of the AJKs"
Owhh...I hate being in an organization.
"Ataupun kita orang letak Farah as Exco terus. Nak jadi exco? Boleh letak as AJK Program ke"
Owh my, they really don't know the way there. They didn't have to offer all these posts though, I really am not interested in all those crappy politic stuff. Plus, my merit's already more than the average mark to stay on-campus for next year, InsyaAllah. No more for me. I was only thinking to myself, "did I want to sacrifice my weekend to go back to KTDI - this place that I so don't want to hang around during weekends?"
"Hmmm...bila eh?
"This Sunday."
Uh-oh. Sunday's my family time. Usually untouchable to the outside world.
But, I figured...what the heck? Lending a hand to a friend in need is a friend indeed. Then I asked, "what time?".
"8 pagi".
Errrkkk. Again, Sunday is family time and we usually have breakfast together - us siblings, either at McD's, Fawwaz or we'd order in from Ritz since he's so very rajin to go out in the morning, sometimes hehe.
Owh well, what's ONE Sunday right? So I agreed to help show them the way there. I'd have to go back to KTDI Saturday night, though. Hmm. I just hope my directions are correct, you see...I have this problem with coordination and orientation. One might think I'm Delirious.
Later in the afternoon today, I noticed a text from a friend asking whether or not I wanted to join Explorace...Saturday morning. At the back of my mind I was debating with myself, I promised days ago to Leanna that I'd come back home this weekend. I have this Raya Open House thingy tonight at the cafe with my housemates and I'll be leaving for home afterwards.
If I were to join the Explorace (8am mind you), I'd have to come back here tomorrow morning? I didn't think it wise for I'd only be spending my time at home for less than 2 full days. Then I found out that my friend really wanted to join this event and a group must consist of 5 people. She's got 3 including herself, she needed another 2.
OK. I'll join then. It could be fun. It's been awhile since I've joined these kinda activities.
A few hours later, my twin sister called. "You're coming back tonight, right?"
Hmmmm...should? I don't wanna tire myself running back and forth 2 days straight.
"Uhhhh..hmm...kenapa eh?"
"Let's do something tonight?" she asked.
So we agreed to watch a movie tonight...later, after that KTDI Open House.
My weekend Agenda:
Tonight:
KTDI Open House
Go back home
Late night movie with the sibs
Tomorrow:
8am - Go back to KTDI for Explorace
Go back home..coz they wanna celebrate the occasion of both Dr. Jannah and I, whom have passed our recent examinations.
Go back to KTDI that night
Sunday:
8am - Shah Alam tour guide
Go back home
So when should I come back to KTDI for class? Sunday night? Monday morning? That, I'll decide later...when the time comes. But, we already know the answer now don't we? I usually return to college that very morning even though I have to go to the NICU thereafter.
Fuel expenses? prolly around RM20, thank god for the very fuel-efficient Viva Elite! Muahh muahh.
.errr, when will I have the time to do my study group notes...or STUDY even? l e n a.
