Dear Blog,
Yep, Surgery posting now. Totally different compared to O&G. Felt a bit lost though, but then again...I always feel lost during the first 2 weeks of any posting.
What a coincidence, though...I saw alotta familiar faces there in the surgical wards, one of which I was really startled to see.
One. Saw the senior yang terer menari zapin for KTDI's annual dinner. I remember her coz she asked me to write down the Yuna song guitar chords for her coz she wanted to play it too.
Two. I recognized the senior I terserempak on the way to the ward months ago. I didn't know who she was at the time, but since she called me by my name...I guess...I do know her?
Three. The face that I was startled to see...was...none other than...Dr. Che a.k.a. Dr. Nana. What in the world is she doing at the Surgery wards? She's an O&G registrar. A friend of mine approached her - she was her student during our time in O&G. Dr. Nana is actually doing electives there at the surgical wards....?? I don't know. I'm not a registrar, who knows what they're supposed to do and stuff. I'm just a silly little student, who is in fact an ignorant one.
Well, that's it for today...my first day in Surgery. Owh...here's a shocker....
My supervisor is Mr. Shahrun. Rumour has it that he's so very garang!! (Not another one. Dr. Rahana was garang too. People, give me a break already *rolling eyes*)
I thought my time in Surgery would be a relaxing one. Turns out, God is forbidding me to have my time off. Owh well, I'm sure He has His reasons.
.Mr. Shahrun...gimme your best shot! l e n a.
