"best friends are siblings God forgot to give us"
-A "friend" in FB-
*BARFFFF!!!!*
What a bunch of B.S.
God gave you siblings for a reason...and "friends" will never be siblings. They can be "like" family, but they will never BE family.
Especially if your "friends" are a bunch of backstabbing hypocrites who love to assess you from head to toe and make you feel so low and poor for slapping on a pair of flip-flops, t-shirt and jeans. But, if you're the type to close your eyes to all that B.S...then, be my guest and call them SIBLINGS.
Friends are nice to have, but to get really close...I would prefer to keep my distance. Coz you can only trust yourself and family when it comes to those moments that you really need someone.
But, then again...I'm really close with my family. There are those who aren't and develop a close relationship with friends instead. I really hope that their "Friends" can really be trusted. So, I guess all this really depends on that individual and the social circle he or she interacts with. My circle, sucks big time. I'd rather swim in a pool of mud than be in a room with THEM.
.l e n a, can't touch this.

is this really how you feel? i'm really close to my friends and i rely on them for all kinds of things whereas i am really quite distant from my family, i hardly talk to them and when i do it only ends up in fights and shouting.
yes it is. it's definitely fun to have people other than family in your life but i dunno...the "friends" around me...we just don't click.
it's great that you do have friends you can rely on since you're not that close to your family. our situation is somewhat similar but opposite at the same time i guess =)
Who are your "friends"? All of 'em?? Goddd.. not even a single of your friend is true?
i would prefer to not be specific =) (a very political answer)
